A SHORT INTRODUCTION
Honahlee was founded with a bold mission: improve global wellbeing through cannabis education and access. When they came to Antimony in 2019, the platform didn't exist yet. Just a vision, a brief, and the conviction to build something the Australian public had never seen. Antimony designed and built the platform from zero, creating the UX, content architecture and brand system that turned an idea into a trusted community.

THE CHALLENGE

Building Trust in an Industry That Didn't Have Any

THE CONTEXT

Medicinal cannabis in Australia existed in a regulatory grey zone. Misinformation was everywhere, stigma was the default, and patients had nowhere credible to turn. Honahlee needed to be the trusted source before it could be a commercial platform. Education had to lead.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The Australian medicinal cannabis market was nascent but growing rapidly. Patient access schemes were expanding and public sentiment was shifting. Honahlee needed a platform architecture that could scale with the regulatory landscape while maintaining editorial credibility.

OUR MOVE

Antimony delivered audience journey mapping, business and ideation workshops, content design, custom illustration, website design, full custom development, and training and support. Every decision was made to build a platform that felt authoritative yet accessible.

CONTENT ARCHITECTURE

The platform featured expert contributors, health professional profiles, strain databases and educational resources. Antimony designed the information architecture to guide users from curiosity to informed decision-making across a complex and sensitive topic.

PLATFORM GROWTH

Within 12 months, Honahlee grew to 6,500+ community members and 102,000 website visitors. The platform expanded to launch Catalyst, an alternative medicines and script database, proving the model could scale beyond its initial scope into adjacent health verticals.
