A SHORT INTRODUCTION
5th Element Wellness has been Antimony's longest-standing client since 2018. The relationship has earned that title. From a full business restructure and custom app build to a COVID-era eCommerce pivot that hit six-figure revenue within its first year, what we've built together goes well beyond a typical agency brief. This is what a long-term strategic partnership actually looks like.
Barfoot & Thompson is New Zealand's largest privately owned agency, family-run for a hundred years. They brought us in to sell their most remote, premium coastal listings the way the best brands sell anything: online, at scale, to exactly the right people. The job was to turn high-end video and photography into a journey that found serious buyers and warmed them up long before they stood on the land. So we built the system to do it, and built it to repeat.
THE CHALLENGE

Rebuilding the foundations before scaling

THE CONTEXT

Antimony's partnership with 5th Element began in 2018 with a full 360 review. The business needed a five-year strategic roadmap, a restructured leadership team and a new Marketing Manager role built into the operation. The foundations had to be right before the brand could scale.

THE MARKET

The Australian wellness industry was shifting fast, with people wanting integrated experiences over siloed services. 5th Element had to move from a single-site fitness operation to a holistic wellness ecosystem across physical, digital and product.

OUR MOVE

We ran it as a long-term strategic partnership, not a project. Brand and communications strategy, a custom app, an eCommerce build, digital marketing and channel growth, launch strategy, creative direction, and leadership coaching for the team as their roles grew.

WORDS FROM ANTIMONY
Seven years with one client teaches you something a single project never will: the work compounds. We didn't just rebrand 5th Element. We helped restructure the business, build the app, launch the eCommerce arm, and coach the leadership team through every new role the growth created. Most agency relationships don't survive that much change. This one did, because we treated their business like our own. When you stay long enough to see the strategy actually play out, you stop guessing and start building on what works. That's the difference between a vendor and a partner.
Sam Hill, Managing Director of Antimony

Adapting to change. Leading through action.

THE PIVOT

When COVID-19 forced the physical site to close, 5th Element pivoted to eCommerce. We applied digital strategy and channel marketing to build an online store around curated health supplements. It hit 30% month-on-month growth in its first year and passed $1M in revenue within five years.

SUPPORTING THE DIRECTION

Our guidance extended to leadership coaching, helping the team step into new roles, and supporting the founder as he built a personal brand that amplified his influence across the wellness sector.

THE PROOF

Seven years as strategic partners. A full 360 business restructure in the first twelve months, three new revenue streams, and 10,000+ customers added to the database in 24 months. Consistent top ratings across Google (4.8), Facebook (4.8) and Mindbody (4.9) made 5th Element one of Australia's most awarded wellness businesses.
